Just an FYI,  this is probably the best day yet on the mission. We had a wonderful sacrament meeting with a high councilor. We had 50 out today,  several non members. It is a new record high for us. Then we went to cherry 🍒 creek and had 33 out there. After the meeting I was visiting with a non member (about half of those in attendance were non members) I found out a little about her. She said she was a Christian but didn’t really believe in one certain religion.  I told her that way back when the Bible was being written in the old world a prophet was told by God to leave Jerusalem and travel to a new world (the American continent). God said Jerusalem will be destroyed and directed the way for them and they landed here in the America’s. Then I said do you think God only cared for the people living in Jerusalem, or do you think he would also care for your ancestors?  She said I think he would love both peoples the same. I said yes I believe he would love and care for the Native American people also just as much as he did the people in Jerusalem, She agreed. Then I said the writings of the people of Jerusalem  were later translated into the Bible and the writings of your ancestors were translated into the Book of Mormon. I said if you want to know what  your grand fathers  would want you to do read the Book of Mormon.  She said you have given me shivers!  I asked if she would like to read the Book of Mormon and she said yes I would!! I gave her a copy.

Then I was visiting an older member and she asked me how she could pay her tithing!!  I was smiling pretty big, a true believer!!   So in all we had 83 out to church today!!  We feel blessed!!

We have been working with a woman named Lana.  A couple of years ago her son committed suicide while everyone was home.  He lived a day and then passed away.  We have worked with her for months.  It has been a slow process but it has all paid off.  We invited her to come to the General Women's Conference which she did.  While we were listening to conference Sister Morgan had the impression to talk to her about the temple.  After the meeting she told Lana that her son could be baptized and have other ordinances performed for him .  She said she would love for that to happen.  Sister Morgan then told her that she wasn't very far from being able to attend the temple and witness the baptism and other ordinances.  She was so excited.  She has been taking the temple preparation class and attending church every Sunday.  She works for a group home for kids on Sunday and brings a bunch of them with her when she comes.  She has already invited a friend to come to church with her.  She is on fire.
