Well a lot goes on but I am not good at recording it all.
Last week we were looking up a person to give them a birthday cake to  and people just kept saying they live here, they live there. After about our 5th house we found a brother who had moved in from California and wants to start coming to church. His wife is not a member and they want to be taught.
They didn't come last week because they needed a ride.  This week we will be giving them a ride and we hope that they will come.

We went to give a man a birthday cake and we waited at the door for a long time.  When he finally came and we gave him the cake he said, "I thought the church had forgotten about me.  I appreciate this so much."  He was visibly moved.  Elder Morgan said, "Don't forget about us" and invited him to church.  We are going by today to see if he needs a ride.

We went to talk to a lady whose daughter we had come in contact with.  She told us about her mother so we went to look her up.  We took her something and invited her to church.  A couple of days later we were in Dupree where she lived looking for someone else.  We went to the grocery store to see if anyone knew where she lived and there was Romaine (the lady we contacted earlier).  She told us where the people lived and although they weren't home, we caught up with them later and they also would like to go to church.

On Tuesday and Wednesday we went to the wake and funeral for a little girl that drown.  She was 5 years old and some boy or boys threw her in a creek (at least that is the rumor). The whole experience was awful.  I thought that going to Amish funerals was bad because they are long and I can't understand Pennsylvanian Dutch.  There were flies by the dozen and dogs kept running in and out.  Here the funeral doesn't start until the family decides to show up.  We waited for one and a half hours for it to start and left after about 2 more hours and it was still going.  There is also not much hope for the family.  It was a really bad experience except, a lady we did not know came and talked to us and said she was a member of the church but struggling with her testimony.  We got her name and are going to see if we can find her.

The best experience we have had thus far happened yesterday.  We had to go to the hardware store to get a part for our toilet.  As we were checking out the lady asked if we were Mormons.  We told her yes and she asked if someone could join the church if they weren't born in the church.  I have to admit Sister Morgan got a little aggressive.  She said, "What I really want is to read your book" which we just happened to have a copy in the car.  She asked if she could be baptized in Arizona because I think they spend part of the winter there.  We assured her she could.  We will definitely be checking back with her.  Now I know why we wear the black name tags.
